We spent a week on the Big Island. Stayed in Kona for half of it, drove along the northern coast of the island toward Hilo/Volcano, stayed in Volcano for the second half, then drove along the south coast to leave.

On our last day there, Pele blessed us with a volcano eruption at Halemaʻumaʻu. We snagged a great parking spot and got to see an eruption. The eruption reached over 500ft in these pics, later that day reaching up over 1000ft. From our viewpoint a couple miles a way, we could hear the roar.

Maui
